Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA), 47-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Minutemen host Heritage (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Seminole bout on Monday, February 12. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 2-16. Heritage lost 48-29 in their recent league bout against Glass (Lynchburg, VA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Rustburg will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 48-29 league win over Heritage (Lynchburg, VA).
