Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA), 52-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Prince Edward County upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Eagles host Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to clash with the Knights in a James River bout on Saturday, February 10. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Buckingham won 44-42 in their recent league bout against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA)
