The Waupaca Comets basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Luxemburg-Casco Spartans to 33 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 7-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wrightstown for a North Eastern contest on Thursday, February 15. Waupaca will battle a Tigers team coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to Brillion (Brillion, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 14-9.

The Spartans (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Valders (Valders, WI). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Valders ran past New Holstein (New Holstein, WI), 60-39, in a league contest.
