Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County topped by Mason County

The Mason County Royals basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets to 39 in the Royals non-league victory on Friday.
The Royals now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paris for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Mason County will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 47-35 non-league win over Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY). The Greyhounds record now stands at 6-17.
The Bluejackets (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 38 contest with a 10-18 record. In their last contest, Pendleton County prevailed over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY), 49-42, in a league contest.
