In Friday's league outing, the Maypearl Panthers (Maypearl, TX) basketball squad edged the host West Trojans (West, TX), by a count of 45-41.
The Panthers (21-15) will now prepare for their outing against Mildred (Corsicana, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 17-15 record. In their last outing, Mildred held off Eustace (Eustace, TX), 44-17, in a league outing.
