Kentucky High School Basketball - Mercer County can't hold off Rockcastle County

February 9, 2024: Harrodsburg, KY 40330

The Rockcastle County Rockets basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Mercer County Titans to 60 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Rockcastle County will battle a Generals team coming off a 52-50 non-league win over Leslie County (Hyden, KY). The Generals record now stands at 14-9.

The Titans (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Western Hills was nudged by Frankfort (Frankfort, KY), 55-38, in a league contest.
