The NCSSM: Durham Unicorns basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Raleigh Charter Phoenix to 23 in the Unicorns league triumph on Friday.

The Unicorns now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Wake Academy for a 1A/2A Super Six contest on Tuesday, February 13. NCSSM: Durham will meet a Eagles team coming off a 57-26 league win over Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-9.

The Phoenix (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Patriots enter the 1A/2A Super Six contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Franklin Academy was outscored by Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 61-39, in a league contest.
