The Sturgis Trojans basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Niles Vikings to 29 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edwardsburg for a Wolverine B contest on Tuesday, February 13. Sturgis will battle a Eddies team coming off a 50-28 league win over Otsego (Otsego, MI). The Eddies record now stands at 10-6.
The Vikings (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI). The Red Wolves enter the Wolverine B contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Paw Paw ran past Plainwell (Plainwell, MI), 76-67, in a league contest.
