The Richard Montgomery Rockets basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils to 31 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paint Branch for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Richard Montgomery will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-31 league win over Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 10-8.

The Blue Devils (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Wheaton was defeated by Einstein (Kensington, MD), 64-29, in a non-league contest.
