The Southfield Christian Eagles basketball team scored 23 points and held the host Whitmore Lake Trojans to 22 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Inter-City Baptist for a Michigan Independent - Blue contest on Tuesday, February 13. Southfield Christian will battle a Chargers team coming off a 47-26 league win over Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 8-4.

The Trojans (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Lutheran Northwest nudged Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI), 47-36, in a non-league contest.
