Kansas High School Basketball - Washington knocked off by Sumner Academy

The Sumner Academy Sabres basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Washington Wildcats to 33 in the Sabres non-league triumph on Friday.
The Sabres now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyandotte for a Meadowlark contest on Tuesday, February 13. Sumner Academy will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-11.
The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Atchison (Atchison, KS). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Atchison ran past Harmon (Kansas City, KS), 59-10, in a non-league contest.
