Toms River East Raiders (Toms River, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ), 38-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Toms River East upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Raiders travel to Toms River North (Toms River, NJ) to clash with the Mariners in a Shore A - South bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Toms River North won 37-27 in their recent non-league bout against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Toms River South will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 67-46 non-league loss to Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ).
