North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilson Prep thwarts Weldon

The Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC), 62-53 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles go into the 1A Tar Roanoke test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Warren County went down by Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC), 62-41, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Halifax for a 1A Tar Roanoke test on Friday, February 16.
