New Mexico High School Basketball - Valencia knocked off by Grants

The Grants Pirates basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Valencia Jaguars to 23 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Grants will meet a Hornets team coming off a 39-26 non-league loss to Belen (Belen, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 1-6.
The Jaguars (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
