North Carolina High School Basketball - McDowell fells Asheville

February 9, 2024: Marion, NC 28752

McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), 37-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Titans host Erwin (Asheville, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Asheville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
