The Christ Covenant Spartan basketball team (Winterville, NC), was toppled 27-17 in Friday's league battle with the host Faith Christian Academy Conquerors (Goldsboro, NC)

The Conquerors now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gramercy Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 13. Faith Christian Academy will confront a Warriors team coming off a 30-12 league loss to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 5-10.

The Spartan (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC). The Tigers come into the battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Trinity Christian was toppled by Community Christian (Wilson, NC), 21-19, in a league battle.
