La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) followers left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), 5-0 in a league match.

The Rams (13-4) will now prepare for their match against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers enter the State Championship Division match with a 3-10 record. In their last match, Cumberland was trounced by Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 5-3, in a league match.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a State Championship Division match, on Tuesday, February 13. Pilgrim will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Quakers enter the match with a 4-13 record after their 5-3 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).
