In Friday's non-league match, the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 51-38 triumph over the Amherst County Lancers.
In their next game, the Cavaliers meet the Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 10. Jefferson Forest will attempt to move on its 13-6 season record.
With the defeat, Amherst County moves to 7-13 on the year. The Lancers host Liberty (Bedford, VA) to meet the Minutemen in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 13. The Minutemen enter the match with a record of 3-8.
