The Steamboat Springs Sailors basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Basalt Longhorns to 40 in the Sailors non-league victory on Friday.

The Sailors now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Steamboat Springs will battle a Tigers team coming off a 48-32 non-league win over Basalt (Basalt, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.

The Longhorns (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO). The Titans come into the contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Coal Ridge prevailed over Rifle (Rifle, CO), 68-24, in a league contest.
