The Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting High Point Central Bison to 42 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Guilford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Ben L. Smith will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 46-45 non-league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-9.
The Bison (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels enter the non-league contest with a 1-19 record. In their last contest, Atkins was defeated by Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC), 65-18, in a non-league contest.
