In Friday's non-league outing, the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), by a margin of 51-45.
The Spiders (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Robinson held off West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 70-34, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Lake Norman Charter for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 13. Central Cabarrus will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 60-38 non-league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Knights record now stands at 17-2.
