Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), 57-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cornwall Central upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Dragons host Monticello (Monticello, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Monticello lost 41-26 in their recent non-league bout against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY)

Next up, the Warriors play the Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Minisink Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 43-37 non-league loss to Warwick (Warwick, NY).
