Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), 63-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Crest upgrades its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to North Gaston (Dallas, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 4-15. North Gaston lost 68-30 in their recent non-league bout against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. South Point will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 46-43 non-league loss to Forestview (Gastonia, NC).
