The R-S Central Hilltoppers basketball team (Rutherfordton, NC), was overwhelmed 67-23 in Friday's non-league battle with the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC)

The Cavaliers now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Polk County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 13. East Rutherford will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 43-32 non-league loss to Chase (Forest City, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-12.

The Hilltoppers (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 2-11 record.
