The Patrick County Cougars basketball team (Stuart, VA), dropped 42-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA)
The Buffaloes now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Radford for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 14. Floyd County will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 51-44 non-league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-4.
The Cougars (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders come into the non-league battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Glenvar beat James River (Buchanan, VA), 52-22, in a non-league battle.
