The Kings Mountain Mountaineers basketball team (Kings Mountain, NC), was nudged 46-43 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC)

The Jaguars now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huss for a battle on Tuesday, February 13. Forestview will confront a Huskies team coming off a 70-52 league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 13-5.

The Mountaineers (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, South Point was nudged by Crest (Shelby, NC), 63-36, in a non-league battle.
