The Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA), 57-41 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mavericks (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record.
The Eagles now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Hermitage for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 13. Godwin will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 49-21 non-league win over J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-5.
