Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting James River Knights (Buchanan, VA), 52-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glenvar upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-14. Patrick County lost 42-34 in their recent non-league bout against Floyd County (Floyd, VA)
