North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky Mount Prep topped by KIPP Pride

The KIPP Pride Pride basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars to 53 in the Pride league victory on Friday.
The Pride now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Halifax for a contest on Tuesday, February 13. KIPP Pride will battle a Vikings team coming off a 51-41 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-13.
The Jaguars (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Weldon was defeated by Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC), 64-56, in a league contest.
