The Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team (Mt. Pleasant, NC), was routed 60-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting North Stanly Comets (New London, NC)

The Comets now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albemarle for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 13. North Stanly will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 100-0 non-league win over Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-13.

The Tigers (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 11-6 record.
