North Carolina High School Basketball - Orange nips Southern Alamance

Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), 52-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Orange upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Eastern Alamance lost 85-70 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC)

Next up, the Patriots play the Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Southern Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 68-52 non-league loss to Person (Roxboro, NC).
