The crowd at Friday's league test between the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) and the visiting Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX), saw Calhoun's soccer squad triumph over Columbus by a margin of 7-0.

The Sandcrabs now sport a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hallettsville for a 4A Region 3 District 22 test on Tuesday, February 13. Calhoun will meet a Brahmas squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Columbus drops to 7-7 on the season. The Cardinals host Wharton (Wharton, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 4A Region 3 District 22 test on Tuesday, February 13. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-8. Wharton lost 8-1 in their recent league test against Bay City (Bay City, TX)
