Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Jasper will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 5-1 league win over Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX).

The Tigers now have a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Bridge City for a 4A Region 3 District 17 challenge on Friday, February 16.
