Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Plainsmen confront the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Monterey will attempt to move on its 13-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 1-0 league win over Abilene (Abilene, TX).

The Bulldogs now possess a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lubbock-Cooper for a 5A Region 1 District 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 20.
