The Richlands Wildcats baseball team (Richlands, NC), was overwhelmed 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC)

The Pirates now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Hanover for a Mideastern 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, March 15.

Next, the Wildcats confront the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 2. Richlands will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 17-7 non-league win over Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC).
