Owatonna Huskies (Owatonna, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mankato East Cougars (Mankato, MN), 71-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Owatonna upgrades its record to 22-2 on the season. The Huskies host Red Wing (Red Wing, MN) to clash with the Wingers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. The Wingers go into the bout with a record of 15-10. Red Wing won 73-51 in their recent league bout against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Century Panthers (Rochester, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 4. Mankato East will attempt to upgrade on its 18-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 13-12 record after their 74-67 non-league loss to Mankato West (Mankato, MN).
