In Tuesday's league battle, the host Hanahan Hawks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Wando Warriors.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warriors come into the South Carolina League battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Wando was edged by Hanahan (Hanahan, SC), 2-1, in a league battle.
