Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA), 5-3 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA) in a A Public Region 2 challenge, on Friday, March 4. Echols County will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Worth County (Sylvester, GA).

The Bulldogs now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atkinson County for a A Public Region 2 challenge on Friday, March 11.
