In Tuesday's league game, the host Putnam County War Eagles baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Social Circle Redskins.
The War Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Newton (Covington, GA). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record.
The Redskins (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Athens Academy (Athens, GA). The Spartans go into the game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Athens Academy tipped Newton (Covington, GA), 15-0, in a league game.
