Florida High School Softball - Cypress Creek bounces Sunlake

March 1, 2022: Land O' Lakes, FL 34638

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL) and the host Sunlake Seahawks (Land O' Lakes, FL), saw Cypress Creek's softball squad achieve victory over Sunlake by a count of 21-9.

The Coyotes now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hudson for a 4A District 9 match on Thursday, March 3. Cypress Creek will face a Cobras squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Sunlake falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Anclote (Holiday, FL) to face the Sharks in a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. The Sharks enter the match with a record of 0-4. Anclote lost 19-0 in their recent non-league match against Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL)
