New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Daingerfield Tigers (Daingerfield, TX), 21-2 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Hill for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. New Diana will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 18-17 non-league loss to Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Daingerfield falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rivercrest (Bogata, TX) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Rivercrest won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Howe (Howe, TX)
