Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gregory-Portland for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. Eagle Pass will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Laredo LBJ falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX) to battle the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 12-2. Veterans Memorial won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Economedes (Edinburg, TX)
