The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) and the visiting Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS), saw Ripley's softball squad nip Kossuth by a count of 4-3.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mantachie for a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. Ripley will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Kossuth falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Corinth (Corinth, MS) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 2-2. Corinth lost 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Hernando (Hernando, MS)
