Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal for a 3A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, March 3.

With the loss, McLaurin falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS) to face the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a record of 1-5.
