Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Greene County Tech for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4.

With the loss, Paragould falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams host East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. East Poinsett County won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR)
