North Carolina High School Softball - South View bounces Pine Forest

South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), 17-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashley for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. South View will face a Screaming Eagle squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Pine Forest falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Scotland (Laurinburg, NC) to face the Fighting Scots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. The Fighting Scots enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Scotland won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)
