Batavia Blue Devils (Batavia, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bishop Kearney Kings (Rochester, NY), 66-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Batavia upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Newark (Newark, NY) to play the Reds in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. The Reds come into the bout with a record of 18-4. Newark won 62-35 in their recent non-league bout against Waterloo (Waterloo, NY)
