In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Burlington Seahorses basketball team scored a tight 47-46 triumph over the Mt. Mansfield Cougars.
In their next game, the Seahorses meet the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 3. Burlington will attempt to better on its 8-14 season record. The Redhawks enter the match with a 19-1 record after their 53-50 league win over Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT).
With the defeat, Mt. Mansfield moves to 9-11 on the year.
