The Nashua South Purple Panthers basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Merrimack Tomahawks to 32 in the Purple Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Purple Panthers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Guertin for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 4. Nashua South will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 50-34 non-league win over Alvirne (Hudson, NH). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-7.

The Tomahawks (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Laconia (Laconia, NH). The Sachems come into the non-league contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Laconia edged Oyster River (Durham, NH), 65-52, in a league contest.
