The Pinole Valley Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host De Anza Dons to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Wednesday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick-St. Vincent for a game on Friday, March 3. Pinole Valley will meet a Bruins team coming off a 2-0 league loss to El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-1.

The Dons (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
